When chromium concentrations greater than 10.5 percent are applied to SS 310 Hexagonal Wire Mesh, an invisible, self-healing chromium oxide coating emerges. This austenitic Stainless Steel 310S Welding Wire Mesh has the best corrosion resistance because its microstructures consist of exceptionally pure crystals in which all alloying elements are maintained in a solid solution. Heat treatment cannot harden austenitic SS 310 Netting Wire Mesh, and it is also nonmagnetic. Both ferritic and martensitic Stainless Steel 310S Woven Wire Mesh has an excellent microstructure, with the latter having a higher carbon content and being utilized for knives and tools. Stainless Steel 310 Spring Steel Wire Mesh has up to 0.12% carbon, chromium as the principal alloying element, and almost little nickel.
This Stainless Steel 310S Fencing Wire Mesh has low corrosion resistance and is ferromagnetic. SS 310 Wire Mesh is used at high temperatures, such as 800° C (1,450° F).
