When chromium concentrations greater than 10.5 percent are applied to SS 310 Hexagonal Wire Mesh, an invisible, self-healing chromium oxide coating emerges. This austenitic Stainless Steel 310S Welding Wire Mesh has the best corrosion resistance because its microstructures consist of exceptionally pure crystals in which all alloying elements are maintained in a solid solution. Both ferritic and martensitic Stainless Steel 310S Woven Wire Mesh has an excellent microstructure, with the latter having a higher carbon content and being utilized for knives and tools.
